COVID-19 ELC Transition

Welcome to our multiple new families joining us in 2020/2021! We can’t wait to meet you all! For our ELC returners, we are very much looking forward to welcoming you back into setting and providing a range of engaging and purposeful learning opportunities.

You should now have received a confirmation letter detailing your child’s 600 hour placement allocation for Term 1 through the post.

Inevitably, the ELC Setting will look and run differently due to COVID-19 inline with Scottish Government guidelines. Children will be grouped in ‘bubbles’ and not mix with other bubbles. Additional staff will join the ELC Team to support this model. This is a new way of working for us and we will work hard to try to get it right for each and every child. We will maximise the use of our ELC Garden and a bubble will regularly have the opportunity to go out on adventures to explore the local community e.g. scavenger hunts in the forest, walks along Waterfall Walk.
